The "Cold Turkey" Method
As the name implies, the "cold turkey" method consists of quitting smoking completely all at once. This means one day you are smoking and the next you have ceased completely. Once new healthier habits have been developed and the pull of smoking has lessened, the individual can then gradually cease taking the drugs.
